Right guys, keep posting the problem with my car but never seem to stmble accross the right answer lol. Only recently my car was stalling and idling funny on tick over. Now, its more of a case of jolting when im going along. Its ok in first, but coasting in second it jolts like crazy (just like im kangaroo'ing) and its really flat when I put my foot down. Sometimes the same when im doing 30mph in fourth, not very often though. Took it to my uncles garage, where one of them had a look. Now, people on here said that it seems like the throttle body, as it did sound like there was hissing from there. The bloke who had a look at it though seems to think I have a problem with the ECU, as my airbag light is now constantly on as well, and everything seems ok with the engine (and yes I have done a search for the airbag, I tried sorting the wires under the seat).
Any more ideas? ECU? Or still throttle body?
I know it would be much more simple to put it on a diagnostic machine, but I have no money, lol, and if I find out whats wrong my uncle can fix it and I can pay him back whenever.
Thanks very much for any help.
Kev.

Have you tried cleaning the tb sensors? Might need a new stepper motor.
