Just been on the phone to auto-locks because I've lost my car key.
He said he'll come out 2moro and cut me a new one from the codesI have.

He quoted me £160 pound. Is this a good price or is he trying to rip me off??
Thats for 1 key not remote.

That don't sound right to me. Surely that is a rip-off.

sounds well expensive to me that. I snapped my car key for my corsa about 3 years ago, took it to the Key cutter over road, took him 10 minutes and i knew him, he wasn't even gonna charge me, but i gave him a tenner anyways. £160? Sounds ridiculous that mate

Thats what I thought but i phoned citroen up and they said I can't order a key even though I've got the code. that was a few day ago and I've just phoned them now again and spoke to sum1 different and he's said the same thing. which is £160 for locks and £55 for a key!

Surely they can but they say because it was my only key they dont know if the locks have been changed in the past!

I paid just £130 to get a key, get it cut, to find my code, then code the key with the code from Citroen.

I only did the above as only had one key and didn't want to imagine the cost of losing my single key.

So you paid £130 and you had a key for them to copy?
If so £160 doesn't sound too bad as I haven't got a key for them to copy and he'll come out to me.

My girlfriend had two keys cut for £55. She went through the RAC. They found someone for her
