Help! Nothing on my dash works!

I have just had a new ECU fitted by a garage, and since I have got it back my speedo, rev counter, fuel gauge, temp gauge, mileage + clock are all not working! plus my brake lights, reverse lights and my interior light. oh and it does'nt lock. they guy at the garage said i need to take to a mian dealer n get the ECU set up properly because he couldnt do it. Just thought I would see if anyone knows if he was talking rubbish or not before i go spending even more money on it. If someone could help me out I would be very greatfull. Cheerz

Have you checked your fuses?

Yer checked the fuses they are all fine

I think fuse F1 controls all of your dials, so might be worth checking as stated above. Check all fuses while you are there.

Check the earths etc then. Is that all that they touched as I wouldn't of thought that simply changing an ecu would have that effect.

Was the ecu unlocked and does the car turn on ok?

thats strange think he would of told you that before he took on the job!. he might be right thoe as the main dealer would have to do any thing that could cause tampering witgh the cars mileage so if they do it and and are verifide to do so then there trusted not to mess about with the millage and what not just a thought .... citroen dealers are gay!

they said that was all they touched, i didnt think it would effect all tht either. i think i will check the earths. The reason i got a new ECU was because it wouldnt start, now it starts fine but nothing else works now.
