Now i know they cant do you for it, so i know im safe but why does it flash?

I've heard they flash as well even if your on the other side, but if there was no markings on your side the road I'd say your ok. They just flash random sometimes, one near me does and no ones going past.

you'll be fine they cant be used to prosecute you, i have set a few off in my time, even if i am like 2mph i have set a few off, or if someone has over took me going into one, it flashed as he passed the camera, hence a photo of me laughing :A:

Normally the markings are on both sides of the roads, give the guy a break about driving on the wrong side of the road lol

Half the time some of them dont even have films in ;)

happened to me when being tailgated before.. nothing happens.. it flashes so you spend the rest of the time in the car going slower and thinking about what happened.. its like a warning

then again my dads had it where someone over took him just as they went past.. so it caught him head on.. haha

just wonderd what happens if you go directly into a speed camera and trigger it but going the opposite direction but on the side of the camera?... because apparently my mate in a subrau did it and nothin has happend i am not sure he is bullshitting?......

My cousin actually got his lisence taken from him for this.

He way going way over the limit, but the speed camera was on the other side of the road.

Had a picture of him actually smiling at the camera!

depends on what type of camera it is. If its gatso your fine, if it was a truvello your probably screwed

ok thats very true. Saw it on a documentary once. i think thats because the truvello's don't flash isn't it?

Not on a gatso you don't which is like 90% of camera's

you'll know if it wasn't a gatso beause the other look quite different if i remember correctly

i mean... speed camera on the left.. a car on the right lane the correct lane doing 30mphish and the subrau goes and overtakes the car at 90 into the lane of the camera and triggers a flash and back into his lane... what will happen next? it was a gatso though...

So the camera is looking at the front of the car? Ifm it is nothing they can't prossicute (can't spell) from a gatso camera that is facing you.
