where is the best place to buy a smashed car from?

i was thinking about getting one thats been in a smash and doing it up to sell or getting one and breaking it.

I know there is a seller on Ebay who sells damaged cars. Cant remember his user name though. Also maybe a scrap yard?

scrap yards your best bet mate they tend not to sell thw whole car tho untill it has been at the yard a while after that they are crushed, normally they will let you have them just before that. or look on ebay!

E-Bay you can tend to find ones with minor damage, Or stolen recovered with no Logbooks etc cheaply..
If you did that, Obtained the parts, and sold them you could probably make a few quid - Its whether you want the initial outlay

it's never worth it, from experience ;)

it's only worth buying a scrapped car if it's from the insurance company, the scrap yards pay like £200 for a car then sell it on for £2k...

Police auctions can be a decent place to look. Stolen and recovered etc, some go absolutely dirt cheap.

ebay, my gf mom got a 2006 vauxhal corsa 1.4 sri 8000 miles non recorded for £1300, needed 2 wings, bumper, bonnet, headlights, slam panel and rad cost £500 for the parts so £1800 AND SHE THEN SOLD IT FOR £5000
