Son has just managed to get hold of a V-plate Phase 2 Furio for £100!!:A:
Downside is that previous owner wasn't paying attention to sharpish bend in road and went up over a 12" bank and through a fence with shrubs behind it.
He had it recovered and as he only had 3rd party insurance, he couldn't make a claim. He thought about weighing it in, but was told he'd get about £70 for it.
Elder son told me of it and I went to look at it. Bumper broken, passenger wing distorted but arch in bodykit ok, passenger door and rear quarter panel dented (Door wouldn't open). Body mouldings scratched but savable. Driver's door mirror broken (hit metal pole behind fence
Engine runs Ok but a bit spluttery when just above tickover (possibly needs new plugs, air filter etc) but will give it a service when bodywork sorted.
Got straight door and qaurter panel off 106 from scrappy. Door fitted OK but then found that rear pillar on Saxo is different to 106 so cut panel down and welded it in. Also required was wheelarch panel from Citroen at £16.
Slowly coming together so more messages will undoubtably appear!!
