hey.

on of ma mates is sellin me his 6-9 speakers and a stealth shelf for £25. Just wonderin how easy it is to disconnect the wires of the original rear speakers to put in my new ones? is this even possible.

do yourself a favour and dont buy them, 6x9's suck.

BUT if you really want them then its not difficult to fit them.

To disconnect the rear speakers you will need to remove the rear door cards, then unplug the speakers and then you can either cut the plug off and solder or use small spade connectors to plug into the plug.

Or you run new wires directly from the headunit

cheers scott. for £25 for the stealth shelf and 2 infinity speakers its a great deal. 6x9 aint the best but i sometimes need quite a wee bit of boot space. they will do just fine me thinks

best fing to do is to run them of the headunit if it ahs the pre-amp connectors at the back.this way u get the best sound,cuz u have seperate seetings for these connectors.
