U.S head units will they work

Got a friend who is goin to the states and can get me a decent hu for cheap. was wondering will it play our cd's over here. is it like a dvd player that has regional settings region 1 & 2 that type of thing.

yes it will work and no cd's are not regionalised.

However you will need to check it can work on UK radio frequencies. American broadcasts are on slightly different frequency steps.

as said it will word with cds, dvd players can sometimes work although mine only played certain ones, the radio will be crap

american radios are 0.5 out on the frequency so wont pick up any stations, i fitted one for a customer that didnt know this who payed alot of money for it and was not very happy.
