Looking at that, you will get a multi plug adapter when you buy it, that goes out into earth, power etc...

If you don't have one in there, then it's useless.

I work at halfrauds, and I can now tell you that you do infact need that wiring plug

It's got a white plastic end like a computer molex connector with 6 pins in it

they normally come in the box mate... where did you get it from?? if you need the part, you would have to contact fusion direct. will be a mission, but if you kick up enough fuss, and say it wasnt there when you bought it new, you might be able to get it free hehe

Halfords can prob order you the part you need, but it should come with the sub.

i had the same sorta problems with wiring my bass tube, erm well yes u do need that white plug or it aint gna work lol with the ground wire u can attach to ANY nut on the car (just undo one, put the ground wire under it and tighten it again, thats that one sorted lol as for the remote wire thats for if you want it to always be on even when ignition is off OR if you want it to turn on and off with ignition? id have to look at how mines wired to tell u exactly hehe oh and the other end of the power cable you can hook straight into any live feed or even go straight onto battery through a hole in dash sorta thing

Thanks for reply Alex! If you dont connect remote wire wont u just have a flat battery wen you come to start car up lol?

depends on how much power the tube uses when not actice, on stanby as it were. most dont use a lot when not being used. mine apparently doesnt but i didnt wna take the risk, so i have it turn on and off with ignition. u can always get a volt metre and install it on the windscreen pillar ( A pillar i think it is ) if you chose to have it always on to keep an eye on battery voltage

how dodgy is that, plugs, why didnt they use terminals so much better

tbh you need to get rid of it and buy a sub, box and amp seperate, bass tubes suck imo

I know its fucking stupid... i wouldnt have got it if i had known this in the first place... Would be fine if the nobhead sent the whole wiring for it...

oh nice 1! sounds like it has the right plug on it though, which is a good sign. the basics for the wiring is pretty easy really the tricky bit is the remote lead and gettin that on/in the right place lol

The remote lead isn't hard at all, and it doesn't just turn it on and off with the ignition, it sends a signal to the amplifier when it is safe to turn on and off, when the current is above so much.... This connects to the blue wire with the white stripe down it on the back of your stereo.

DON't fasten the earth wire to any bolt in the car, as it will short out if it's not a proper earthing point, E.G. the car body is the ideal place, somewhere under the carpet in the boot there are a few points.

As for the power cable, the safest way to do it and easiest is to run it through the car into the engine bay, and behind the fuse box on the right hand side there is the main feed from the battery, simply take off the nut, add your power lead, and put the nut back on, saves lots of bollocking about with the battery itself.

Listen to that numpty and you will have a burning car....

i have one when i bought it off ebay brand new it had the wiring kit with the white plug with 6 leads i think its quite a good idea since if i need all the boot its easy to remove the sub and no chance of the power wire shorting on metal.
