Okay, well I am 17 Years Old this wednesday coming (20th) and am looking to insure my 1997 Citroen Saxo 1.1x with No Modifications on a Provisional License, parked on a driveway where I live. I wanna get my insurance done tomorrow night ready for Wednesday as I'm gonna do quite a bit of Driving with my Dad (As well as doing lessons) I live in a "B" rated risk area. So far the best quote I can find is with Direct Line at £1500 with a compulsory £150 excess (Which cannot be raised), this seems a little steep to me and I was wondering what you guys think?

I know you must get a lot of people like me but £1500 is a hell of a lot of money..

Thanks alot :y:

Mate when I was 17 (full licence though) I had a 1.4 saxo and paying the same as you. But I am sure when you pass, your insurance will drop so at least you will get some money back. How ever, I don't think direct line do modifications do they??

Did you try confused.com or moneysupermarket.co.uk?

Add your parents as named drivers to your policy!
