there is a boss at my work (not my boss) that has only got a provisional licence. he comes to work in a car by himself and he lives about 3 miles from work. he changes his car every couple of months which my guess is to avoid getting tax and MOT done. now my girlfriends auntie has her own business and one of her drivers did not have any insurance or tax on his car. she reported him to the DVLA and the police and nothing happened.

becasue this boss hasnt got a licence that also means he wont have insurance and its people like us that it affects with the high insurance premiums.

most people know about this situation and i think some people have reported him to the police but again nothing has happened.

Report him to the police then maybe go as far as alerting his neighbours. If he lives in a busy area where there are kids playing etc he could run one down and again he wont have any insurance etc

He should be stopped from driving on his own before he has a nasty accident and possibly kills someone. God, it's scary to think how 'above it all' some people really are when it comes to the law

He probably got banned for some reason and is too stubborn to do his test again. But surely he's not stupid enough to believe what he's doing is legal... hmmm

maybe he will loose his job if they know hes banned!

if hes got a family and all that...think before you go the cops. may be relying on his wage!!

not saying its right but...see what his sercumstances are 1st

Erm... also think about the family he's probably driving around in his car without a license. Sod the wage its more important his kids and wife are safe etc

He could have been banned for a number of reasons if he was banned at all. Who knows, he may not have had a license in the first place.

I'd be cunt in this situation and just report him to the police.

but film the arrest for comedy value and show the future grand children, show them what a hero you are.

Do you think this guy even knows people know he's driving round on a provisional?

Two different coppers dealing with it though. You get pulled by an 'on-beat' copper and then when you take your producer in you give all your details to the 'on-desk' copper. How would they even know he was driving on his own unless the producer document stated this? They wouldn't even bat an eyelid if the other copper failed to log it would they?

I wouldn't 'lose faith' because of a single incident. They may well be slow and useless, but they might be checking it up as we spam speak. If everyone felt like that we'd be running in a lawless society full of yobs on the street, drinking and making noise at an unsociable hour with no respect for other people or the law.....

He'll probs report you and within 5 mins your entire family will feel the full force of the law and then be tried in Her Majesty's court, you'll be found guilty of causing noise at a normal, acceptable time and then handed a 10 year jail sentence to serve as an example to others...

How do you know he is on a provisional? I cant imagine its something he is going to broadcast, also how old is he doesnt seem like something an older person would do who has a supervisory role.

If he has been reported he has more than likely already been checked up on and possibly he has got a license, maybe its just chinese wispers because if something like that was going round the office/workplace and known to alot of the employees its more than likely known about in the big wigs office and they would pull him in fairly quick i would imagine its not something they would allow a employee do especially if he is driving/parking on their property.

Have to agree there. What sort of business/industry is he the boss of? And how high is he excactly?

If he is only on provisional then report him. You could inform the police of the vehicle he's currently driving giving reg etc. and stating he may be driving illegally, they may take a trip to his house and question him when he's in etc. I knew someone who hadn't passed and was driving a chavved out 1.2 corsa with a 2.0 red top conversion coming his way apparently. He was soon fired from work for causing trouble and not doing his job, distracting other members, and being abusive to members of management.
Not only that his mum was only just released from jail due to spending £5k of money that wasn't hers due to an accident where the money was transfered to her account by her workplace.. in all honestty why would you spend it if it came from nowhere?

Anyway he's probably still driving around unless he got put off by his mate after his mate threw his little toyota into a roundabout.
