Industrial Placements!

Hi all, im having trouble finding a good company near or in manchester that does industrial placements years for students, im doing a degree in IT and need to find a job for next year to get some experience

can anyone help or think of big companys that i can apply for, ive applied for a few but heard nothing back yet :(
