Is they such a thing you can buy that say covers you for X amount of months and gives you X amount of trips in that period.
Say train to London from Leeds 2-3 times a month?
Or how much would i be looking to pay i just bought each ticket in advance?

I use the train once a month ish to go home, and twice a week for work, for work I never pay.. walk through the back of the station with my pass ;)
going home is a diffrent matter, if i book the week im going its normally £40 with my 3rd of for student discount.
if I book 3/4 weeks in advance I can do it for a tenner each way...
also depends on the route, last weekend I paid £7 to get back to leeds, thoguht it was a right bargain, turned into a 9 hour journey through manchester and the lot, not nice on a hangover lol
check out oyster cards..

You can buy weekly season tickets, monthly season tickets, termly season tickets or yearly season tickets.
I only buy weekly because I don't usually go in every week so it works out cheaper. Still £120 a week when I do go in though.

It's worth getting a railcard though Leckie... They're about £20 for a year, and do save you a fair amount.
