i have just purchased a pyle dvd mps cd player with a seperate screen.

i am thinking of mounting the screen in the centre console where the stereo goes and mounting the stereo in the glove box so i can shut the the door and you cant see it, also the screen will be romoved everynight aswell.

what you think

Sounds different. Like said above would take a bit of work. Only trouble with having the stereo in the glove box is accessibilty. Cant really reach for it when your driving. And even if you have a remote control, wouldnt surprise me if some copper pulls you over for 'using your mobile' or something stupid.

yea sounds like aloott of work.

if you want the screen to fit flush in the dash something would have to go because otherwise theres not enough room.

or if its going to sit out a bit getting to certain knobs would be hard...

then you would have to move all the headunit wiring to the glovebox and also do some sort of either mdf or firbeglass mould other wise it would look silly..

but if youve got the time then would be awesome :D..

im sure you would be ok with usuing remote to the radio

i know it will take time, but i wat to do somethin different. and the dvd/cd player will sit in a build in the golve box. the scren would sit in the centre console, the buttons would be moved to where the fan is, and i would be sat int he middle between fan vent ( where buttons going) and trhe switch for the fan

its a lot of work but will be nice if you get it done, id rather have sunvisor screens tbh
