Amp Question....

hey guys, when i bought my sax it had a sub but no amp, the power cable from the battery is there ready to be pluged in when i get one, now im looking for a cheap amp, but for sum reason there is another bit of wire that has at one end been screwed to the bodywork!!!!

why is this?? is this an earth or somthing?? just my mums zr has a sub and amp in and hers aint like this!!

If it's screwed into the body work then YES this is your earth lead. The other end will go into the amp.

Yup, definatly earth! usualy goes under the rear bench under a bolt.

its the earth/ground wire mate! just dont take it out thinking u dont need it haha, ur mums is probably like it but u just cant see where the wires are going lol

Yeah it sounds like the earth wire, usually black.
