Is it legal for me to add say my Gran to my policy if she dosent live with me... I've just had a renewal through..
2 years NCB,
19,
2 Years driving,
No convictions,
They want 1.6k... now I did one with my gran on my policy and its 800ish quid... drops it by half or there abouts.
Can I do this?

Yes you can.
I did it with my current policy on my Vts.
I have my mum, gran and papa (both of them living at a different address)
The insurance policy accepted this (elephant) and it lowerd my quote.

not to gloat, but i'm paying 250 fully comp pn my own name for a vts, but i am 25...
seriously though, there are some people round my way paying rediculous prices for insurance, and its fine to put your gran on it or whoever you want...

Tupps, i've done that for last 2 years :(
Just rang and got insured with Admiral, price they offered online was 811. When I rang they said I want to take the policy out they said hold on, re-worked the policy and got it down to 760 :)
So 19, 2 years NCB, full comp and insured in own name for 760. :)
