Just dropped my sister off and driving back was really busy and fog didn't help with everyone who has fog lights having them on. Anyway some woman just didn't stop at a roundabout so had to slam my brakes on,

and then i don't know what happened but all i remember doing was trying to put it in second gear and lots of beeps and flashes and then i realized id put the car into reverse. Managed to get home but was really scary cos i was sure so i was putting it into 2nd gear when it was actually reverse. Am gunna stay in tonight cos i don't wanna drive. It was such a scary feeling when i realized what i was doing and that i was so sure i was putting it into second.

ive driven a few cars lately and put them into revrse instead of second, one a brand new astra where you play witht the wee switch and the other and old polo cause the gearstick is so loose, quite amusing actually

Happens to me all the time.
Going along the road doing 60ish and think im in 5th but actually in 3rd or 4th (not really much of a sound difference when cruising)
Anyway everyone knows a VTR doesnt move in fifth. So i always plant the foot to speed up a bit and think, fucking hell its quick today, then look down and im only in 3rd. Makes me feel stupid hehe.

all cars should, i used to hate motorway use in my saxo, revved far too high at 70 in 5th,

I remember once on my driving lessons.. doing a uphill start at some traffic lights.

Puts loads of revs on, waited until the car lifted up.. and then took the handbrake off.

It was in reverse. The woman behind me shit herself.
