cleaning products :)

I am looking to buy myself some decent stuff, but not too much as i am a student lol.

We bought my dad a porter cable for christmas which i can use but i dont want to nick his Sonus SPX-1 and SFX-2 stuff.

This is what i was thinking . . .

Detailing tape:

Clay bar set:
http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/detailing-clay/meguiars-quik-clay-kit/prod_226.html

Cloth (does bensilversaxo still do these?):
http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/microfibre-cloths/ultimate-ultra-plush-buffing-cloth-16-x-16-/prod_69.html

Poor boys wheel sealant:

Chemical Guys wet mirror finish:
http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/sealants/chemical-guys-wet-mirror-finish/prod_339.html

Are these products ok? would you suggest something different or anything else?

Also would i use the wet mirror finish after my autoglym polish? or could you suggest any better polish?

Thanks
:)
Emma

P.S: I love cleaning my car so i am hoping to be a proper whore! lol

yes wet mirror after your polish.

AG resin polish is really good on machine aswell. its not abrasive though so depending on condition of paint you may aswell nick your old mans polishes or buy different ones. but being on a budget and living in the real world, meaning were all gonna inflict swirls, go with what youve got and see

Most of what you have suggest above are very good products, do you need any wax to put on after the sealent to protect your car?

Well i have never applied wax tbh, i always thought it was a pain to wash off when you want to wash your car again, is this true?

Any recommendations?

nope not not really, wax comes off very easy when you wash the car, i would suggest getting this one http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wax/r222-carnauba-wax/prod_357.html or this one http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wax/victoria-wax/victoria-collectors-wax-3oz/prod_309.html

But surely that won't last long?

how much and how do you apply it? like polish?

would this not be as good then: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wax/chemical-guys-butter-wet-wax/prod_141.html

the victoria one won't put the R222 wax is amzing stuff, the chemical guys one is good you suggested to, will give you like a wet look shine to your car, apply with an applicator pad, put a thin layer on and then buff off.
