front splitters??

could any type of front splitter be smoothed into the original front bumper??

i enquired this from a body shop, they said it is possible but the longtivity of the work is whats gunna let you done.
As basic filler wont bond to the plastic splitter and would just drop out if you hit a kerb or big ditches
