It's not as if it's a secret the drug laws in other countries. If you knew that you were likely to be jailed if you bring ANY drugs into the country, surely a prudent person would check they had absolutely none on their person before leaving this country?

one guy is locked up for 4 years (min sentance) for buying over the counter medicine, in dubia then travelling back with it, how shocking is that

No, that's just stupidity on the part of the authorities - I wonder why HMG is not kicking up a fuss on this one? If it was someone I knew I'd be ensuring that the FCO and my MP was shouting it out, I'd get the press on to it - but everything seems silent. I can see no reason for the silence.

I think the problem is when you dont take drugs in intentionally and then small traces, such as 0.003g of wicked wicked hash, are found on the bottom of your foot.

Guess he isnt going to be playing at AIR anytime soon.

It seems like a very harsh punishment, however the streets etc are so safe over there and there is virtually no crime.

Will miss him on radio 1 every weekend though, i rate him as one of the best D&B DJ's.

But drugs tolerance in Dubai and the surrounding area is very low, which I don't have a problem with tbh as I'm not into drugs, and he got his justice in accordance to the law over there. He was in the wrong, end of, and got what was coming to him. Moral of the story, keep away from illegal Drugs :P
