hey was driving along yesterday and my subs just cut out. looked in the boot and the amp wasnt on. wen i got back i checked all the cables and everyfing was in place but the amp still wouldnt turn on. i even tried connecting abit ov cut of speaker cable from the remote to the batterie but still nothing. i dont have a clew whats up with my amp and driving around with out subs is starting to get to me. could the power cable of hit the fuse on the amp and blew it?
i have a ripspeed dv710 headunit,vibe blackbox 3 400watt amp and an alpine typeR12 sub.

why not swap it into one of your mates systems quick to see if it is the amp thats nackered or if something wrong with your wiring

well there will be an earth going from the amp to the car body. check that the part of the cable connected to the body is touching bare metal. if not sane the paint away from the body and then try again.
