Right well i phoned up quinn today to see how much extra on my policy it would cost if i was to get a vts. After going through all the standard procedures the told me that they cannot insure me :angry: They said anything over 100 bhp for under 21's are not aloud.
But going on previous posts and what other people say there are some of you that are with quin, are under 21 and are insured on a vts??? I do not want to go with another company as im halfway through my policy and dont want to fork out for a whole year again with someone else.
How is this done? How much did it go up by for you and what car did you have before that?
Also i remember reading somewhere if i have an insurance policy with someone they legally cannot refuse me a quote on anything. So if i was to just buy a vts and tell them that is my only way of transport will i get insured?
This is mainly directed to those of you with quin but any advise would be greatly appreciated. Im just so bored of my rover 25 1.4i and a vtr is just not enough power (seing as they are very similar powerwise)
