I love the deep sound on this backbox but its really really quiet. What would make it louder? any suggestions?

get the full system mate and a de-cat and an induction kit that should make it louder..i work at kwik fit and we had a guy come in with just a backbox on and we put him on a straight through pipe and there was a big difference in the sound of it..sounded quite a bit louder and still deep..hope this helps

Cheers for the help i know a lad that has just opened an perofrmance exhaust shop and he will do me a cat back stanles steel pipe will that make a difference or should i get the cat bypasssed?

Id get it de-catted aswell mate.
then an upgraded, smaller centre silencer.

hey all

sorry 2 change the subject but just had a power flow system and had the cat removed 4 more power. anyone had any problems when the mot was due???? will they just turn a blind eye if i tell em?? do u reckon they will pick up on no cat??

the powerflow is welded on from the front pipe and not a cat back so would have 2 do major work if they picked up.

may get an MOT station to turn a blind eye, or just get the powerflow dealer to cut out the pipe and weld you CAT back in when MOT is due.

some mot stations might turn a blind eye to it. just befor u go and have an mot done on it if u boot it about a bit befor u get there that will change the emitions for the better
