Sorry, but if you modify your car, you will pay for the privilege. Welcome to the world of modified cars - a very expensive place to stay.
Why not keep the car standard for 12 months and build up the NCB. Otherwise there are two options.
1) Try a broker who specialises in modified car insurance.
2) Accept the fact that you CHOSE to modify your car, and now you have to pay the price.

I've been looking for quotes recently as my insurance is up for renewal... Confused.com seem to bring back realllly expensive quotes. Try Admiral/Bentacre/Diamond [Women only I think...?]/Elephant....
Elephant are the cheapest for me. There was £400 difference between their quote and the quote from confused.com

No worries...
You could always look in here (http://www.saxperience.com/forum/showthread.php?t=42837) to see what others are paying, and who that's with...?
