Progressssss thread.. (30-Aug-09) UPDATE

well, to be honest i was not going to make one and just go before and after but i will keep adding things for ages im sure... right
i had a totally standard saxo looking like this....

right, i have since removed the bucket on the back for a full stainless and taken my raceland induction kit off (for sale) i kept tinted rear lights, it has angel eyes and a smoothed dimma grill with black vtr alloys (bought new ones waiting for tyres and refurb) those going on along with lowering as next plan :D and now it looks like....

oh and btw can anyone link me to a pic of a saxo with a dtm twin upswept exhaust please? i quite fancy one but i dunno..... well i know its only a peek but all critisism welcome :D and before you say lower its getting slammed this weekend!

i know the guys at the garage and i had a bump and needed a new bonnet wing and lights soooo did it all as part of that but i can get a quote if people are interested, its in totton called totton car body, awesome job, guy called steve sprayed it and they fibre glassed it so it doesnt crack or sink!

getting lowered sooon :D and the new rims are gonns look insaaaane :D cant wait! took raceland off as im making a custom one sooon with a pipercross and tbh it was a raceland with the kak filter, also looking at it it doesnt duct air very well as there is too much in the way.... :bored:

its worth it as they are awsome so helpful and i can gaurentee the work, also they do alot similar so they know what they are doing rather than some garages who will give it a go and use filler... and they are the best spray place i know (have 2 ovens) while i was inthere they were doing 6 1960 rolls royce spray jobs and a jag e type and an old schoooool merc, just awsome! no egg shell looking crap :D

probably but the thing is as soon as a bonnet gets flexed out of shape you may have issues with fitting....
this is way second hand pannels never fit tight

Cant belive you've took most of the bits off it! ok the exhaust was OTT and needed a lil sorting but belive me and you mate that raceland made a hell of a difference to throttle responce even with the crap filter! again it just needed a lil work to tidy it up i just didnt have the time myself.

Glad to see the black VTR wheels and Tinted rear lights are still on, what about the smoked side repeaters? they still on?

I was going for the smoked look myself!

Anyway shes yours now so do what you want with her and keep us all updated!

If i had known you was gonna change everything i would've took everything off and sold them myself, would've made a mint, them VTR alloys will fetch easy £150+, well hopefully! Seamer sold some on ebay for £250, think he came lucky though but still you can make some money on them!

im affraid my hands are tied on cost mate cos he did me a deal cos im advertising for him and had tyres in the price but they are very competitive so mention my name buddy! already given him some customers cos the work is awesome and does tyres balanceing for a good price too

brief update, no pics though, manifold 4-2-1 decat will be on wednesday week so not too long, along with lowering 50mm font on eibach springs and 55mm back and think i will change my back box to a 3in ashley as i now have that and my stainless one but dunno cant decide lol

oh and de wipered last night! and got silvertek indicator bulbs

once this work is done i will get lots and lots of pics up!!!!

upper and lower OMP strutbraces (lower will be sold as too low lol)

lowered 40 ish all around with koni shocks and springs.

Grooved front discs with greenstuff pads

Goodridge braided brake hoses front and rear

K&N 57i Generation II Induction Kit

should have manifold and full exhaust on soon along with a full roll cage ready for the track.

pics to follow :) vts now has manifold and full pugsport exhaust with racecat (600 quid system lol) sounds awesome de wipered now got some speedlines to go on so i can refurb the vts rims then do the same with the speedlines.


soon to come will be french pressed plates pug mirrors roll cage short shift bucket seats and harnesses.
