Spacers, will this work?

Hi, dont know if this has been covered before but im looking to put 20mm spacers on my car.

I have 15" standard vts wheels on the motor and has been lowered 40m and the front and 40 - 50 to match the front. I want to put 20m spacers on so the car looks alittle more agressive and maybe have the wheels refurbed in gloss white. My worry is as the car sits low anyway when i hit a bump will it catch the plastic arches? Has anyone had trouble like this with spacers? Just wanted a little advice before going buying some and realising there not worth the bother. Thanks! ;)

i was going to need spacers for some alloys i brought recently. i was told to get the hubcentric spacers because with the normal (cheaper) spacers you get wobbly wheel syndrom. and was told your wheel could fall off!! so i think its worth spending the extra money and getting the hubcentric spacers and you wont get any of that.
