New Job!

Well i am over the moon!

I have just been formally offered a position as a New Car Sales Executive for Ford!

I went through the most intense recruitment day ever yesterday, and manged to get to the final 4 from 33!

think i might be selling up the saxo soon as i will have a company car and will have no need, so watch this space.

of course not. basic is 16.5k but its commission/target based, its uncapped but the average at the dealer ill be at is 40k

i'll be gettin just under that for the first couple of months whilst i train and get used to the systems etc. because they dont expect you to meet targets as soon as you start

no this is my first job in the motor industry. took me a while to find one that didnt require experience.

i went for an all day recruitment day which was from 8:30 to 18:00!

you do alot of tests, role play, assessments, scenerios, presentation, 1-2-1. was a very hard day, but worth it if you stand out.

you are required to call existing customers to see if they want to upgrade, test drive etc. you have to get people to your showroom basically.
