Sky Hd!!!!

The debate is raging in my house regarding Sky HD.

Currently we have Sky+ and the summary is :-

For

- We have an HD television so it makes sense to get the maximum use from it
- Extra channels are available
- Current offer from Sky is the HD box for £199 with £60 installation as long as we take Multiroom
- Moving the Sky+ box upstairs would offer more choice and more recording options


Against

- It is £260
- Only around 8 channels extra at present
- HD and Multiroom subscription would be another £20 per month
- Would this increase my viewing hours even more



Would be very intested in your views and experiences of HD as to whether it is worth it.

not majorly! it is handy gives the added sid eof saying yes i have it..

i only use HD for footy etc! see soem difference but not much! if u have nothing to lose and having plusses more than negatives and doesn't burn a hole then yes. iv never really tried the movie channels in HD not around enough :) dvd's are for that nehow! :)

I have Sky Hd and although it definitely is a lot better.
I would say hold out for longer until there are more channels to watch.

in a similar situation myself. but i dont have sky at all. dunno wether to just go for sky+ or just wack out full for HD.

you told me you was getting promoted so you would get sky hd....so do it.

Wait till March, rumours that Sky are putting some new deals on. You will need to go through an ASA (authorised sky agent) to get the deal.
