best place to get a loan??

right im looking at gettin a loan for a new sax say between 2500 to 3k and thats to buy the car and insurance,i was wondering where is the best place to get a loan from at the minute and my credit history isnt the best is it better for me to get my mum or dad to get me a loan and pay them it back or get them to stand garantor?

dont think my dad would lend me the money has no problem helping me out as in taking a loan out and me paying him back aslong as i paid the money he would be fine just need to persuede him to do it for me

bank would be the first choice mate. if you are buying the car from a garage you could always get a credit card with 12 month intrest free on purcahses and buy the car and insurance with that. then once the 12 month is up if you havnt paid it off get anotehr and transfer the balance. this was if you keep on topof things then you should not have to pay any interest to anyone

try and stay away from loans mate, i got one. But due to me just turning 18 i had no credit history, my bank were tossers. I had been with them 10 years yet they wouldnt give me a loan so i am now paying on a 2000 loan 3700 back :panic:

Try and borrow the money from family etc, if you cant try and get your parents to take out the loan for you. As otherwise you wil pay stupid interest

I applied for one through abbey they declined and referred me to UCC i was accepted with them but their apr is like 50% no lies, try moneysupermarket and they provide you with the companies and there acceptance level :)

no credit history at all, just got a phone contract in my name but iv applied for one tonight via lombard so fingers crossed its hard though trying to get one with a low interest rate

well if youve not got a great credit score, the likelyhood of getting an int free credit card with enough limit isnt great.. if youre getting it in your name youll probably only be offered a higher rate loan so yeah get your folks to get it in their name..
and just to beat you all i recently got a loan at 6.5%..
