My lil bro's birthday is in 2 weeks. He will be 8 (although he acts more like an 18 yr old lol). He's asked for either a nintendo ds or a PSP. I can't make up my mind as to which one would be the best to get. So which one would you recommend?

the screen quality on the psp is amazing, its like a mini plasma screen. also youve got interent and if you have a ps3 then you can use it for remote play

This is the thing that's making me go slightly more towards the psp. All the DS's i've seen (in shop displays) have had broken screens! I heared you can play movies and stuff on the psp's aswell. How does that work? Can you download them straight from ur computer and transfer them to the psp?

Yea pretty much hen.

You have to change the format of the video first using PSP9. Free software.

Also make sure you get him a decent sized mem stick for the videos.

I love my psp, playing it a lot recently. I have got a 8gb memory stick too, so i have lots of space for music and movies.

Can't wait till they bring out the 32gb memory stick. :y:
