Clear/Lexus Lights

Whats the attraction of clear and Lexus style lights? I can understand the whole "trying to be diffrent" bit, but they are that common place, its more original to keep the stock clusters on!

And personally, I'm yet to see a car that looks good with clear or lexus style rear lights, and that includes lexus'.

Please people, For the love of god, Keep your stock lights, they do actually suit your car!

Unless you've got a black car, then by all means have smoked lights.

The amount of times i've seen a nice subtle modified car, got to the back of it and the vision is shattered by the to find it has been defiled, and spoilt by gash looking aftermarket lights.

thats ur opinion but if you colour code your car silver your not going to leave your red lights on are you???? Surley you would want clear????????

I for one don't like the lexus style lights, that's why I had the Ultra Crystal Clears on mine cause they weren't too over the top, but even them I got fed up of and went back to stock rear clusters!

I don't agree with you on the "I'm yet to see a car that looks good with clear or lexus style rear lights, and that includes lexus" remark, but then thats my personal opinion.

Thats fair enough, it does boil down to personal opinion.
The problem that I see with clear lights, is that they just look like cheap tack.

Personally, I quite like the quadconversions saxo rear lights, but the rest of the qc stuff looks awfull.

For me, its the same as chromed stuff, other than in the engine bay, i think it looks out of place, except on the classic cars, such as beetles, campers, mini's etc, but when you see a car with chromed mirrors, it makes me think "at what point did you think that was going to look good?"

I'm more of a fan of the subtle look, Thats why my car has a basic MSD bodykit and 15" alloys, the rest of the car is stock other than performance engine modifications.

At the end of the day, its all down to taste, or lack of!

If you want to be subtle, or make it look a bit silly, thats up to you.

Cant say my lexus lights were my first choice.... but they were the cheapest around at the time!

i like the ultra clear rear clusters and some of the lexus style ones! i hate the snake eyes rear clusters! i disagree with soopahfly on his comment that clear lights are tack! its your opinion! i think most ppl on here would disagree with u!

i do however agree with you on the chrome mirror quote as they do look shit!

i chop and change between my clears and my standard lights!

Used to have the lexus lights on mine. Now got the ultra clears.

Dont mind either of them to be honest. just the rear end needed updating a bit, so went to the ultras.
