Airbag light problem

I hit a huge trench in the road hard yesterday, the airbag light started flashing, then stayed on. That happens everytime i start the car now, what does it mean and how do i get rid of it?

all ican think of is check the connectors under your seats cause they might have come lose

PROBABLY IT IS NOTHING AT ALL.MANY FRIENDS OF MINE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AND WHEN THEY WENT TO CITROEN THEY FOUND OUT THAT WAS NOTHING.THEY RESET THE PROGRAM, I THINK AND THAT WAS IT.BUT YOU SHOULD CHECK IT OUT.

that happened to me - well I didn't hit a trench but one day the airbag decided to stay on, just like jaybiss said I had the connectors under my seat replaced as the standard citroen one's are not very good aparently and now the light doesn't stay on smileys/smiley2.gif
