what sort of power can you run on a stock electrical system. before a second batt and an u/g alternator is needed.

im running 2x12" subs
3 amps
kenwood 5.25" components
directed kickpods
alpine ipod h/u
and holds up fine unless i dont move or start the car for a few weeks then just needs a bumpstart

im running polk audio front components, polk audio rear speakers, a jvc exad dvd player, 2 sunvisor screens, a 12" sub and a 1000w kenwood amp. no strain o nthe battery at all.

Pioneer CD-IB100 II iPod Adaptor and Custom I-Pod Holder
and thats it apart from the wiring and battery (which will be an optima yellow top when this bosch one goes :y: )

the set up im going to be putting in is:
2x hifonics hf12d4's in a custom slot port 4cuft box tuned 2 34 hz
hifonics brutus class d 2600 for subs wired at 1 ohm
lanzar 6.5" comps
hifonics zeus 600 for components
and pioneer head unit with ipod adaptor

oh dear mate, i wouldnt bother with any of that stuff apart form the pioneer headunit
you can get much better, just when it comes to it put a budget up and what you want :y:

hifonics gear is top notch puts out lots of rms and the sound quality is also spot on. the only thing that may need 2go up is the comps. and it most certainly isnt cheap. 480 quid for the brutus. just read loads of good reviews on there gear so goona give it a shot

hmmmmmm i beg to differ on that one mate, up to you at the end of the day, i had a legacy amp a long time ago and it was ok but only lasted a few month and it was knackered
tbh for 480 pound for one anp there is a hell of a lot better on the market, for example audison

i gotta agree with you there pred. i'd rather go for an audision amp, pheonix gold amp or a genesis amp if was spending that sort of cash.
dont forget your sound proofing aswel ;)
