Hi, theres been so many forums about how low to go, but with standard 15" vts rims, how low can i go with it still being ok to have rear passengers?

I would say around 30-40mm, but some people would say lower - depends how many people you have in the back and their weight !!

I would say so. Mine's lowered 40mm and I've had three people in the back with no problems - an extra 10mm should be alright.

id go for 40mm mate, any lower and you will be scubbing over pot holes and speed bumps

im 60 in the back, had 5 in the car on friday, it was literally on the floor with standard 14's !
so if you do take people often id go no lower than 40-50 tbh.

So what do peeps advise me on doing - 45mm 50mm?

I'd personally go 40mm, but if you have to go 45mm or 50mm then go 45mm. I agree the Saxo looks lush low, but it'll handle better up 35/40mm, and you'll catch it on less things etc.

I dont really mind about handling too much as long as its not dangerous

Does anyone else have any opinions/experience of this?

I am on 16" alloys with SPAX 40mm dampers on rear, they are very stiff but with two people in the back it is ok although if i hit a bump quite hard then my tyres scrape. Not enough to make me take drastic action though lol
