I like em mate. Some might say a bit girly but I like the look of them. VW = reliable should hold its value too. Dunno about performance but I hear that they are a bit of a let down. Lupo GTI ftw!

really like them both, was told by my mate that had an older one they get owned by vts's but im not sure as ive never driven one or seen one racing

ok run down... i was gonna get lupo gti...

lupo gti... 6 speed 1.6 16v 125 bhp... rough interior
polo gti mk5 not that sure as never wanted one but think they are 1.6 16v too but not sure they are high insurance group
but polo gti new shape mmmm.... 150 bhp 1.8 turbo (same as the audi tt with 225 bhp.... so lots of potential) lush interior and like a baby golf sooooo nice!!!

but yea sorry not too much use

Lupo ftw but they are obviously much rarer and its hard to find a good one @ a good price.

However the polo's are nice and a bit more sensible.

BTW the white one is a cat d so i wouldnt bother with it.

I do love my Lupo though;)

its hard to find one though as they are so rare especially if you are fussy about colour, mileage, condition etc


i dont see why people think they are girly?
their looks can easily be beefed up a bit if you think they look too girly.

I was so lucky with mine.

Deposit was put on my Saxo on the Tuesday, with the new owner coming on Sunday.

Rung the owner of the loop on Wed and knocked him down from £6100 to £5500 (he needed the cash as he was going through a break up).

Went to see it on the Friday, put deposit down that i was given on Tue.

Picked it up on Monday.

Great mileage for price and completely standard.

i know a lad that had one mk5 01 reg

125bhp and insurance group is alot lower than a vts its like 10 or 9
mpg is better than a vts
not quite as quick as a vts about 8.5 0-60 top speed about 130 basically a vts top end, its a lil slower slightly! 0-60 as its alot better built safer and that = more weight. get some good goodies im sure it has cruise con, it has xeon lights, and from me mate that owned one with 120k on the clock that was very reliable
