im having a problem with my amp(s)
ive got 2 wired up
with a bit of speaker cable as a remote rather than the bit in the rca lead
this goes to 1 amp (1000w xplod) and is bridged to the other (600w t1 audio)
but when the ingnition is off only the xplod turns off
im quite baffled
as if the xplod is being turned off the t1 should as its bridged from it
any ideas??
could use some help as flat battery keeps pissing me off lol

have you wired it up to the remote connection on the headunit? it sounds as iff you've just wired it up to the live.

make sure the wires on the other amp arent touching eachother mate, any tray strands for the remote could mean its touching the power and therefore not switching off

Wire them up properly, 2 seperate RCA's and power cables.
And make sure they dont run alongside each other, to avoid feedback.

the remote is not anywere near to the power lead
so im quite baffled
to every1 saying wire them right ther all seperate power and rcas its just the remote lead done as a bridge as the crappy little 1s in the rca got pulled out whilst feeding them through the car

ive got 1 power wire into my boot
a fused distribution block splitting to the amps
2 seperate rcas from my headunit to the boot
and a single remote lead to my 1000w amp
and the remote is the only thing thats bridged to the 600w
there on seperate earths aswell

could simply be down to the amp being faulty mate
try it on the power lead the otehr amp is on and see if it turns off, or try it in a mates car

i think my amp is fubar
i was trying some bits earlier
and with everything connected except the remote lead
my amp still switches on
and wont turn off
but it shouldnt even come on without a signal from the remote right?

yeah, sounds broke, it should NOT turn on without anything connected to the remote

yeah sounds a bit fooked mate, take it to a repair shop and see what they can do for you, in most cases its best to just sell the amp as faulty as a lot of people on ebay will buy them and fix them up
then you can just buy another one

yea i have been thinking of drooping to some less bassy 6x9s (i no u dont like them)
and getting a smaller amp
as im running pretty low wattage comps compared to the subs so the 6x9s add the midrange im missing
