Need Help Buying Wheels

smileys/smiley5.gif there are so many people selling wheels in mags on the net and ebay all claiming that there wheels will fit a .saxo .106 .205 .306 ..etc ..etc
can some one help me i need to know the questions to ask....
like ...whats the
PCD (pitch circle diameter)

OFFSET ET (is there a number i should look for one not to small one not to big )

and the finally tyres i know i need V speed rated ones but what size.??

is 195/50/15 to big or can i get away with it
what about 195/45/16 or 195/40/16danvtr_9 says 195/40/16 with no modding

well 1st of all the size of the tyre depends on the size of the wheel you buy!

if your going for 15's then id say 195/45/15 or 16's either 195/45/16 or 195/40/16. i would reccomend the 40 profiles on 16's! i have fitted them on a 60mm drop with no rubbing by removing the wheel arch liners!

i no that the ET you should be looking for is ET18 but you can vary them with spacers!

im not 100% on the PCD so i'll let someone else explain that!

i think the PCD is the distance between the studs of the wheel nuts ive seen sizes like PCD100 and PCD108 but whats the right one ???
