Motorbike thread - ktm 250 (PIC ADDED)

Long time no post but looking for bit of quick help and cant find any decent motorbike forums.

Dont no much about bikes now but going to see this one tomorow. Geezers a bit dumb but tells me its a 2002 ktm 250 . i thought it looked a bit older than a 2002 myself but dont know. has no papers with it either. (lad works at my place so if it was stolen it would come back on him, he insists its not tho)

It will only be used for messing around over the fields some weeeknds so just for fun really, but would like to know from anyone who nos about bikes to tell me if it looks like an 02 model etc, what to look out for blahblah

it wont be stolen, its not that im worried about. im more worried of what year it is (roughly). as seems v cheap for a 02

yeh had quite a few. best i had was a cr250. been on a kx 500 which was my pals and that was just stupid. but thats back a few years so aint up to date with them now. the lad says its quick. having a blast tomoz

im guessing you do motorcross? if not still a ver nice bike. my friend does motorcross and i no he has a 250cc but i dont think its a KTM. (lol no that it makes any difference.)

Hi mate nice bike, I ride a husaberg fc501 which is bassed oin the ktm 525. If you want to know the exact yaer of the bike write down the frame number, phone a ktm dealer and give them the frame number and aslong as it's the original frame they will tell you the age. Hope this helps
