power steering whiring noise!

Hi guys

This is my 1st question on this forum so hope help is at hand! it will be truly appreciated.

My power steering motor is making this weird whirring noise when i turn on my ignition and battery light comes on?? Only just started doing it.Used to intermittently cut out before and this is a new one.Can anyone please help?Got an interview tomorrow and want to make sure my car don't blow up on the way down

Turn Ign On An Hit Pump Motor With A Hammer (bushes Stick)

tapping with a hammer does work, and it is the bushes inside that stick. There is also a guide on here to recon the pump.
