Driving at 70 my car will just cut out, and the same whilst im going slow.
Even in multistorey car parks (was going down a ramp and it died, leaving me to suddenly ontrol the car round a corner with no abs) Dodgy!!

Anyone know what the orange light is that looks like a hook? cos thats what keeps flashing.
Thanks

Check your manual... But I would assume you are refering to the engine management light. You will need a diagnostics done on this straight away, as having the engine cut out at high speed is extremely dangerous!

Could be your throttle sensor.. I had this problem, it would just drop revs and cut out while im driving

A meate of mine had the same problem. have u got an induction kit on ? sometimes the induction kit is too close to the battery, and when the car shaked the filter hits the batter shorting the car and turning the engine off.

Defo your engine management clovis.

Get this checked asap as the car will keep running until the engine cannot run anymore, the ecu raises its leniancy everytime the car cuts out until the engine goes.

If the price includes fixing then it sounds alrightish. Depends how much you trust the garage/dude/lass.
