Changing thread title (doesnt matter now, Karl is JESUS)

Yes i know you double click the thread to change the title. But when i do this it opens up the text bit to change and then straight away opens the thread. I dont get time to change the title. What am i doing wrong?

Didn't understand a word of that but anywho, if you're just after changing the title open the thread (say this one) go to the first post you made to open the thread/start thread. Click on edit post, click advanced, go to title at the top of the page and change to whatever you would like... then click submit reply :y:

Thanks that looks promising. Thing is some people say you can just double click the thread title in the main forum page and change it that way. But as i said when i double click it opens the editor and then straight away opens the thread. but nm :y:

I see what you mean about the double clicking it does it for me as well. You could always double click then quickly push stop on the browser, I prefer doing it my way that way I can update bits and bobs too ;)
