Hey,
I brought a saxo last week (my frist car)
1.1i P reg.

The Air bag light flashes when you put the key in the ignition and stays on when you start the car.

Anyone know how to solve this?
and if its expensive lol

Thanks

The connections under the seat may require cleaning mate. Do that and then reconnect it. Thats usually the case.

hey buddy, i THINK that maybe the wires have been cut due to it being in a bump which caused the airbag to pop out, you see some cars if involved in a bump cut fuel supply of and theres a button under bumper which you simply push however other cars have both the button and sometimes if the air bag has been deployed it wont start so cut wires to trick the car lol loooooong explanaition but could be the reason! ;)

if your car has been in a smash and the impact was enough to set eh airbags/s off then the steering wheel needs to be replaced, so does the airbag ecu (which is under the carpet in the middle of the car under the dash) and the seat belt pretensioners. there is no button to turn the light off.

have a look at the link in my last post and it will explain what it is mate.
