hi all,
was wondering if anyone could give me some help on builds for me boot, i have a 10" Pro Audio with the pretty neon in a nice mirror box (i dunno it was an impulse buy lol) and a 12" Silver X-Plod 1600W, idealy i would like another 12" and maybe a 10" in the middle of them
But, i was told this might not sound any good as the subs may work against each other?? smileys/smiley5.gif
Whats everyone else got in thiers??
Any coments welcome
Cheers

I'd be more worried about how its all going to fit!
Ive only got 1 12" sub in my boot and that takes up over half the space.

Theres plenty of room in there, shoe horn em all in!! smileys/smiley17.gif
I gt 2 12s either side n a set of 6x9s facin in2 the rear seat, have fort on many occasions 2 ditch the 6x9s n pt another 12 in there place!!!!!!! smileys/smiley3.gif
Hence y im in the process of modding a set of rear door cards to house my 6x9s!! smileys/smiley2.gif

Keep your favourite sub, sell the other and get the same makes, thats the 1st thing i'd say.
As far as a build goes...FIBREGLASS ! ! ! smileys/smiley14.gif

Its not good to mix different sized subs in a boot mate, as they displace differnt amount of air...
either stick with two 10's or two 12's

why isnt it ok to mix 2 sizes of woofers?
i was just thinking how it would be a great solution to have a 10" in a selaed box for kick bass, and a 12" in a BR box, for real bass.
ofcourse, 2 different boxes, not in the same 1

cones moving at different times due to size, volume of bx etc... notes startign to play out of place and the subs clashing with each other

thanks for your feedbaack everyone, i have seen a saxo with two 12"s and a 10" in the middle so it will fit (just) i was just wondering if it would sound good enough
i want to keep my 12" silver x-plod 1600W coz it sounds nice plus its the only one i have ever seen, whic is also a pain in my a$$ because i want another one smileys/smiley5.gif
what size do you think is the best to have a 10" or 12" someone told me 10"s have more punch and 12"s have a deeper bass range ?? is this true?

yes, but it also depends greatly on the box
