Recently purchased a saxo 1.1, and want to modify it in some way. However not sure where to start really? i need a set of alloys but dont know whether to get 15 or 16's. Im also debatin whether its worth it to get it lowered! Anyone got any advice for me? cheers

is it mk1 or mk2?? I have a set of 3 stud 15's and its lowered 40mm at the front (soon to be 50) and lowered about 45mm at the back, i think it looks good. you have to get it lowered i drove a car today without it being lowered and had alloys, felt like driving a 4x4 compared to my saxo.

If you mean with rubbing, on the front it rubs slightly on full lock on the drivers side but that's because i had to replace front wing and it's not back properly. On the rear i had to cut away the metal under the plastic trim on the rear arches or it will rub when you have people in the car. Look on ebay for a nice set or on here, i paid £150 for mine, try and find someone who doesn't know a lot about them as you can get a better deal (ebay). The ones i brought had just had 2 new tyres put on them costing £90, there were a few scuffs, but everyone i have spoken to says it was a bargain.

i don't have a digital camera, but if you feel inside the rear arch you will feel the metal bit and you can see it if you look aswell.
