hey everyone

are these little bikes still illegal or not as i dont understand whats going on

my best mate has about 10 of these some are little and a few slightly bigger and he has nitro on a few of them and i gotta say they are proper fast

i warned him many times that the cops will take em off ya he doesnt seem to understand me but he seems like he can control them as he was chased in a local park by some cops as he was tipped off lol he managed to get back home with the bike

after that never heard of him been chased or caught but theres been lots of times he past police cars and police walking they look but seem not to do anything so are these still illegal or cant the cops just be arsed ?

If you ride them on the road its illegal, as they are not taxed, mot'd or insured.
You can't ride 'em in parks.

The only legal place is private property!

issue there is you can't tax, m.o.t or insure them (for road use) as they are totally illegal for public use, to fast for the pavement, and too small for roads :)

i used to ride mine round a sucken car park in fleetwood (betty land), used to race all sorts, we once had 2 quads, moped, goped and 3 mini motos tanning round, police came on, we were like oh poop, walked right up to me and my dad and goes ' where'd you get them and how much they cost, they look ace, i want one' gave him the number of the guy we bought ours off and he left! there are some nice coppers out there after all!

Me and a few mates had a couple of these. We taped our phones to the back and videod us having a race. turned out pretty cool. That was until my exhaust overheated and melted off and things just started to break.

My little bro recently got one of these mini-motos, a 49cc Dirt-bike thingy, but when we found out how restricted their use is we just packed it up in the box and sent it straight back, wasn't worth keeping tbh.

i reckon u done a good job there mate u saved money as whenever i go n see me mate his mixing the petrol with sum kind of oil its a bloody dirty and costly job but they are cool fun its just if u lose it ur gone the bikes gone and the moneys gone down the drain !

dude i will let me mate know but that wouldnt be a good idea already his familys going insane as the garden is packed with them and his got bits of them all over the place in the garden lol and i wouldnt ride em well i cant cos my leg wouldnt stay on it would probably hang then fall off lmao

Cool i was the same when i was like 13 lol.. Once you get into polini and blata moto's your onto a whole different animal, The link i sent if the bike goes for less than £350 i'd advise snap it up so much fun i planned another one.

its off a remote mate and its also got a alarm and immobilizer lol very funny as most cars dont even has alarms lol

dude i remember this time when he bought his first mini bike and he was the first one to buy the bike around our area no one had ever heard of them when he brought his on the rd man he made most the profit selling them around birmingham and in a matter of a few weeks u would see them going up and down the roads like the government made a new type of transport lol

well his mate bought one and these lot met up one night (5 bikes) me mate didnt bring his bike because it was going threw sum mods so he took his mates one around this corner so fast we thought his gonna loose it but instead we saw the engine popping and all the oil or petrol came leaking out it was madness

but now that sum of the lads had there bikes taken off them or most havent got the time its not like them days and most people he sold bikes to basically sold them back to him for half price so all the bikes his got atm they were bought from the profit he made on selling them so seems like his done good ?
