Wondering about car mileage ??

hi. was just wondering what a citroen saxo 1.1i SX should be getting out of its fuel. i put 20 quid in it the other day and i got 162 miles out of it. Just that im a new driver so not got a lot of experience yet and there might be a fault somewhere...maybe lol. any help really appreciated .thanks

not a saxo but in my 1.3 fez with £30 i get around 260 miles.....

Doesn't sound too good then really im guessin.gunna have to sort it out. i do know that my clutch is a bit dodgy coz it doesnt bite until late. might be something to do with that.cheers anyway for any comments. replys are well quick :)

Best way to work out mpg is to fill to the brim, reset trip counter, drive car, refill to brim again, record mileage, do some maths et voila!!!
