if the VGA is melting your head you should should beat the VGA cable up.

Have you set the TV channel to VGA input?

go to your display setting

desktop > right click > properties

then go to the settings tab

then go to 'advanced' then somewhere in there you should be able to select a second monitor... or 'force TV detection'

safe y0

actually it does work but not really how i want to...i have to drag any thing i want to see on my tv from the laptop screen to my tv screen. not sure how to make the tele the primary screen.

FN + F5 on the laptop switches to the VGA port and will display on both screens. Its normally FN and F5 but could also be FN + F8 (normally the F key as a lil pic of a monitor on it)

Using this method will show same screen on both laptop and tv.

now look for an F1-F12 key that has a tiny picture of a monitor or whatever. see if this helps :)

Jacko

you can change your resolution, by ...

right clicking your desktop,
properties,
settings..

Bam change it to a bigger resolution

*be warned though, your tv will not support uber good res most likely*

........or
in internet explorer,
view,
text size,
smaller.
