Morning All,

Insurance is due on May 1st, so I thought I'd browse around and see what prices are - even though I know they won't be that accurate but gives me an idea.

20 years old
Held Licence 3 years
3 years NCB
Insured for SDP&C
Fully Comprehensive
Car Valued at £8,000
Mileage 6,000 a year
No convictions
Garaged Overnight
Alarm & Immobiliser Fitted
£500 Excess
Mum & Louise as named drivers

Car is a Peugeot 307 1.6HDI (110bhp) XSI.

£846.00 with Admiral - seems to be cheapest!

However, I want to go with Bell again if possible as I'm on a Flexibell Policy where I get to drive ANY car 3rd party for an extra £40 for the year.

I was going to try Brentacre, but when I called last year they wouldn't accepting my last NCB because it was a 10month one - would they accept me having 3 years now seeing though I have held my licence for 3 years.

nope. the 10 month will be void whether it was 3 years ago or 30 years ago unfortunately.

To them... you've only got 2 years NCB

The 10month ones arent always great, just so long as you have a confirmation letter from the company that you are with stating you have 3 years no claims you will be fine.
Random thing as well, Bell only charged me £27.95 to drive cars 3rd party, and Im only 20.

I understand that, but if I have already held my licence 3 years and I have 3 years NCB (the 10month policy been 2006 - 2007) surely they will be none the wiser?
