but thats not the companys fault, unless they fitted it themselves.. but then they will just say it was fitted correctly.

u cant claim against mother nature.

You wont get money out of the council.. tbh best of claiming on your insurance or just pay up yoursel.

its ment to be selling on saturday.

the guy who is buying it is a car sprayer do i, tell him the damage and drop the price, or dont sell it and fix it then sell it again,

but if i did sell to him now how much would you reckon i should knock off? im sellin it to him for £2800

Amiee

Knock him something off.

You have been trying to sell it for a while now, how long before someone is interested again? Not been funny, just been truthful bud. I'd sell it for £200 - £300 less.

i keep changing my mind so only been up for a month at most,

by the looks off it, it will need a new wing and the bit that goes under the light

Dont waste time tying to get anything off the council. Just dont bother.

Speak to the buyer, tell him exactly what happened, ask him if he still wants and see if the 2 of you can agree a slightly reduced price.

Try offering him £150 - £200 reduction and see what his response is.

Dont say it was the wind, just say some retard must of fitted it wrongly and it was a danger to the public. Cant see why you cant claim as it is someones negligence....assuming you dont say it was the wind. Where theres a blame theres a claim :homme:

Viper
2nd March 2008, 16:34
it isnt negligence though

it was the wind, which is an act of god
