Decided to take the dog to Ferry Meadows (big local park) and see if any saxo's there:y: got onto the entrance road to the park and the bottom hose blew:panic: couldn't stop as very narrow road and loads of traffic behind me:oops: got to the car park and all hell let loose, temp gauge in red no oil pressure, and water/steam out of the exhaust then engine wouldn't turn over, phoned AA they got there in 20 mins:y:
Felt a right c*nt with the bonnet up and smoke and steam billowing out and all the other drivers going past laughing at my pride and joy:oops:
Got home ok with AA help, just need a new hose and a head gasket, so no more days out for a while:n:

Yep it was the Furio, 1st fault in a year:oops: did have a meet arranged at the park but it got called off for "mothers day" I just went in case anyone turned up, should have stayed at home, (Sods law)

same happened to me when first got mine too. was drivin round on a lovely hot day, n stopped n waited in car park cus pickin boyf up, started the engine up and loadsa smoke out the exhaust and sounded like shit, temp gauge well over red. had to get new head gasket but luckily someone me boyf knew sorted it all for me for 180 quid.

Fair enough the c2vts is a fast car, but what a sh*t ride, with me speed is not everything, I just love the feel of the saxo, you kind of sit in the car, with the c2 you sit on it, except for that bloody gearbox on the saxo:fcuk:
And before anyone says I'm a moaning :fcuk:er (all together now) both cars have good points:y:

Don't laugh, I was bidding for a Volvo 480s on ebay, with the popup headlights, just to :fcuk: about with. but common sense took over and I bought some bodykit parts for the saxo instead:y:
